St Paul’s is a small Anglican Church in the suburb of Penketh in West Warrington. Our main Sunday meetings are temporarily being held at the Oaks Community Centre (owned and managed by the church) in Stocks Lane, Penketh (WA5 2QS). We are in the midst of change with the main church building due for demolition in 2015. Plans for the new building are well advanced and have just received the all-clear from the planning department at Warrington Borough Council (Sept 2015) - See our New building page for more info, or donate on our fundraising page.
We love our local community, and we want to meet with you!
Our aim at St Paul’s is to provide all sorts of settings in which local people of all ages can access and grow in the Christian faith. Our community work doesn't just stop on a Sunday. We want to welcome you to sit with us and have a coffee or something to eat at the the Old School Cafe at the Oaks, to sing with us in our community choir, to dance the afternoon away at our tea dance, browse in the shop or experience the many other things on offer.
Further information on our community centre and its inter-generational use can be found on other pages of this web-site.
All generations can take advantage of the many activities at The Oaks, if reasonably mobile, and we regularly visit care homes if they are not!
At St Paul’s we always try to put Jesus at the centre of our lives and in our work, and so we extend a warm welcome to anyone and everyone!
A variety of church services take place each week as well as mid-week groups. Please get in touch if you'd like to learn more.
